Armow

Armow Wind is a 179 MW project located in the Municipality of Kincardine in Ontario. It is a 50/50 joint venture between Samsung Renewable Energy Inc. and Pattern Energy, with shared development and financing responsibilities. The wind turbine blades were manufactured by Siemens in Tillsonburg, Ontario and the towers were manufactured by CS Wind in Windsor, Ontario. The project consists of 91 2.3 MW Siemens Energy wind turbines.
The Armow Wind project began construction in the third quarter of 2014 and commenced commercial operations in the fourth quarter of 2015.
